Itinerary 

 23rd September - 26th September 2013

Tour Cost: $439-00 ( Australian Dollars ) Plus $30-00 Travel Card

Excludes: Additional transport costs, taxi fares if required, drinks , Sampan Ticket, Peak Tram Ticket,
Entry to Museums & Show tickets.
Includes: One English Speaking Tour guide

Day 1:  Wan Chai via Central

Meeting Place: To be advised

Visit Wan Chai area of Hong Kong Island where the "old charm feel of Hong Kong" exists. Dropping by street side market stalls and visiting historic landmarks in the area.

Lunch will be in a Chinese heritage building, the food will be classic British cooking a modern twist. Price Guide $200 HKD pp: To be confirmed

You then will take a tram through Central Hong Kong visiting the Western Markets - a 3 storey Edwardian Market built in 1906 & restored in 1991. 

The Antique Markets are a short stroll nearby. Here you can tinker through replicas from the Chinese Dynasties.

Day 2: Shopping in Shenzhen, Peoples Republic of China

Serious Retail Therapy awaits.
Shopping in Shenzhen is a very intense experience, with salespeople and hustlers all wanting your attention. Majority of goods are imitation, 
prices are cheap and you get what you pay for.  
700 shops over five floors.

Why go? 

Handbags, Jewellery, scarves, T-shirts, shoes, hats, sportswear,sporting goods, watches, material, travel bags and much more.

Exhausting? 

Yes it can be. At Sidewalk we will encourage you to stop and a foot massage or your whole body it is up to you. Here is todays "Pampering treat" no bookings required. 

Food? 

Yes, worth stopping to refuel and take time to look at what you have bought.  

Money? 

We recommend you take CASH in Chinese Renmimbi, exchange your Australian Dollars at home or in Hong Kong, Try to avoid exchanging from AUD to HKD to CNY, you will save on exchange commissions. 

We also recommend: Water, tissues ( for the loo), headache tablets, fruit, pen & paper.

Day 3: Central & Mid Levels

Today we take you to a elegant place for tea in the heart of downtown Hong Kong. Whether you are a tea lover or not, you will be captivated by its soothing atmosphere and cultured environment. Aimed at reviving the traditional canton-style teahouses. Here you will participate in a tea appreciation class. Following that you will immerse yourself in a traditional Chinese Calligraphy lesson, embracing the essence of the art.
Afterwards a vegetarian dim sum lunch will be severed.

Cost $620-00 HKD pp Cash Payment will be required.

We then will explore the heart throbbing Central area, stopping along the way at different shopping opportunities.

We will finishing at one of our favourite massage spas for the delightful treatment that you have selected. The spa menu will be email to you separately.

9:30am - 4pm


Day 4: New Territories & Tsim Sha Tsui

The day will start with a visit to a Temple where local and tourist worshippers pray for good fortune.
The opportunity to participate in offerings is welcomed, you may even consider having your fortune told.

We then will return to Tsim Sha Tsui for lunch in a restored heritage building.

After lunch we then will visit a gallery where you can browse through artefacts from the Chinese Dynasties.

We then will take a walk along the harbour front capturing the iconic views of Hong Kong before walking along the hustle of Nathan Road visiting several shopping malls.

Finishing the day at a fashionable bar for Happy Hour.

Terms & Conditions of Travel - Sidewalk Hong Kong Overseas Tour 2013 & 2014
Deposit and payment:
On our overseas tours, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required on confirmation in order to secure your reservation. Final payment is due 10 days prior to the tour.
Costs not included in prices shown:
Visas, Insurance, Public Transport costs, excess baggage, meals, laundry, drinks, items of a personal nature or tips.
Pricing:
All prices are shown in Australian dollars and are current at date of printing this itinerary. If the exchange rate fluctuates dramatically, or if the price of services provided which are beyond the control of Sidewalk Hong Kong, then Sidewalk Hong Kong reserves the right to adjust tour prices accordingly, even though the balance of payment may have been made. This would only happen in very unusual circumstances.
Cancellation:
If cancelling prior to final payment the deposit is non-refundable. 
Balance is refundable if cancellation in writing is received 8-13 days prior to your tour dates.
Balance is non-refundable if tour is cancelled 7 days or less.
All funds eligible for refund will be refunded within 14 days of the conclusion of the Sidewalk Hong Kong your tour. Account number and BSB will be required for the refund.
Please read you travel insurance policy carefully.

Travel Insurance:
Travel Insurance is compulsory on all overseas Side Walk Hong Kong Tours and is a condition of booking. You are strongly recommended to take out cancellation insurance at time of booking which will cover cancellation penalties in certain circumstances (note: such insurance will not cover a change of mind). Insurance should also cover cancellation fees payable for airline tickets, accommodation, loss of deposit, luggage etc. Normal travel insurance conditions apply. (Insurance may not cover trip cancellation due to pre-existing medical conditions). Please read your policy carefully. Your insurance policy details will need to be provided before departure of your trip. Failure to do so will mean exclusion from the trip. Please ensure you have your policy number and emergency telephone number for your insurance company with you during the tour.
Itinerary Validity and Content:
This itinerary is valid for the period of 2013 & 2014 unless otherwise specified. Every effort has been made to ensure accuracy. Side Walk Hong Kong shall not be liable for any injury, damage or loss caused by any inaccuracy. Side Walk Hong Kong reserves the right to change tour arrangements  due to safety or security reasons, and will endeavour to provide alternative arrangements of the same standard as that originally booked.

Clients’ Responsibilities:
It is your responsibility to obtain visas, passports, health certificates or other travel documents where required for the tour. It remains your responsibility to ensure that these documents are in order and to meet any additional costs incurred as a result of failure to comply with such requirements. It is also your responsibility to book your own airline tickets within Australia to meet the tour and also international ticket to meet the tour in the designated country where the tour begins.
All Side Walk Hong Kong tours are subject to minimum numbers.  Every endeavour is made to ensure the tours take place but if the minimum number of passengers/guests is not reached, the tour will be cancelled with all payments being refunded.
